Born to Kart

I was contacted recently to create a couple posters to advertise the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo in June. The idea was to take well-known movie posters and put a retro-gaming spin on them.

For the first poster, Stanley Kubrick’s iconic poster for Full Metal Jacket.
 Obviously replacing the helmet with a turtle shell made for an interesting take on the image with various elements of the original replaced by Mario Kart themed iconography. This one was a lot of fun and will be making its rounds on post cards advertising the show!
